Mt. Zion IMAG Solution

The Task:  Design and install a full integrated worship system consisting of lighting, sound and video equipment.

The Solution:  Advanced Lighting & Sound began the process by generating a detailed model in Ease to help determine the best possible solution.  After detailed analysis a solution based around the Renkus Heinz ST9 Reference Point Array.  A LCR configuration was chosen for the room as well as a delay ring for the rear of the room.  The entire system is powered by Crown CTS series amplifiers with USP3CN cards.  The system processing is handled by BSS Blue 800 series processing allow-

The lighting system consists of 192 channels of ETC Sensor dimming and a full assortment of ETC light fixtures.  An ETC ION control console with fader wings was added for control.

Various switcher solutions were looked at but the new Barco FSN 1400 switcher was chosen.  This is the first installation of the FSN in the world and everyone was excited  about the possibilities.  The FSN is a scalable multi-format solution that provides a 1.5ME platform.  The cameras used for the system are JVC’s new GY-HD250U.  The current system is equipped with 2 cameras but plans for up to 3 more are in the works.

The display element consists of three Sanyo 15,000 lumen LCD projectors along with a Da-Lite motorized center screen.  The visual impact of the system has added a new design element for the church to use.

The New Barco FSN series expands on Barcos legendary scalling technology to bring a fully integrated HD solution into the presentation market.  The system layout is modeled after a traditional broadcast work flow simplifying and easing the transition for video specialists.

The FSN has the ability to operate in and SD mode to allow it to be backwards compatible with existing equipment and ready for future HD integration.

The system is expandable with a variety of I/O cards and a larger 2.5 ME control surface is planned.
